Viability Assessment

A Viability Assessment is undertaken in order to determine whether any identified risk can be appropriately managed within our residential setting. There are two ways in which we can complete the viability:

  • Paper review, this includes the reading of files and reports pertinent to the case along with any additional relevant history of all interested parties.
  • Full viability assessment, which includes meeting with the referrers and the parents, in conjunction with the paper review.

Should it be agreed following the Viability Assessment, that the parent would benefit from a full residential assessment, a discount from the residential fee cost would be offered towards the final cost.
